The Churchill Center was established in 1981 to build upon and disseminate the knowledge and expertise of The Churchill School. The Churchill Center offers educational programs, professional development in the field of learning disabilities, and advisory and referral services to students, parents, teachers of general and special education, and related service providers.

An information, resource and referral service for parents and professionals seeking guidance in selecting appropriate school and /or summer programs for students, elementary thru post-secondary.

The referral service recommends highly qualified tutors and other professionals with expertise in working with students with diverse learning styles.
Parent Educational Network-P.E.N (more information)
P.E.N. programs and workshops offer parents the knowledge and strategies to better support their children’s needs.

Enhancing Social Skills Development for Children (more information)
A 10-week social skills program for children, ages 5 – 14.
Reading Initiative Program for Children, grades 1 – 3
A free, 27-week after-school program of systematic phonics instruction for children in grades 1-3. Most children attend public schools in N.Y.C. and are not receiving private tutoring. (call 212-722-0610 for details)
